Mike Difelice

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Mike was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals. He made his major league debut in 1996. In the 1997 MLB Expansion Draft, he was chosen by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays with the 20th selection and was a catcher with the organization till 2001. Mike played with the Arizona Diamondbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, was sent to the Chicago Cubs on a conditional deal, then signed with the Florida Marlins, New York Mets, Washington Nationals and then again with the New York Mets before finishing his career with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2008. Mike managed for a year in the New York Mets organization with the rookie level Kingsport Mets.
