John Schneider

Catcher John Schneider was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 13th round of the 2002 amateur draft out of the University of Delaware. He played six seasons in the Blue Jays organization, including parts of four seasons with the AAA Syracuse Chiefs. In 2008, he was appointed hitting coach with the GCL Blue Jays of the Gulf Coast League, and took over as manager the next season. He was at the time the youngest manager in affiliated baseball. After managing from 2009-2011, Schneider returned to coaching the GCL Blue Jays.
